Victory for our Campaign

At last Wear the Hard Hat Dave has achieved victory in our campaign and it just shows that the policy and PR wonks out there do take notice.

We commented that David Cameron anti-Health and Safety views took physical manifestation by his refusal to wear appropriate (and mandatory) head protection on site. He visited UK Exporter JSP which manufactures hard hats in his constitency and refused to wear one !

We they clearly presented him with his own
What do I do with this?
Well we can now reveal that in Feb 2012 he praised this British Manufacturer

and now he has been spotted wearing PPE at last.

No sorry that was him at height in Woking 2011, try again
The Wrecker
No that's Maggie Thatcher at Battersea Power Station in 1988. (Could resist the caption -Never a concrete ball around when you need one!)

At Last! - well done Tata Steel in Corby

Wear the Hard Hat Dave

Prime Minister David Cameron is famous for not wanting to be photographed wearing a builders hard hat. Given his views on the "Health and Safety Monster" perhaps he just hates anything to do with Health and Safety or perhaps he doesn't want to be mistaken for a member of the Village People.

Here he is at a world beating British Hard Hat manufacturer not wearing a hard hat, (so much for helping British Exporters and flying the flag)

Since Not building houses is not helping to bring back economic growth it might be good to see our Prime Minister donning a hard hat and actually building  something instead of cutting and abolishing.

Building a few houses might help to rebuild the British economy (and to pay off the deficit).

Anyway here is a collection of other politicians wearing appropriate PPE.
